As a newly established center, we are seeking a dedicated project nurse to assist doctors at the PHOENIX Research Center ( https://research.regionh.dk/da/organisations/phoenix/ ) in conducting clinical research. With us, you will have a central role in performing clinical trials and research projects (both own and externally contracted research).

Our department and research

The Department of Allergy, Skin and Genital Diseases is a combined research and clinical department that receives patients with all types of skin diseases. A larger grant has created the opportunity to hire a project nurse in a part-time position at the PHOENIX Research Center.

The PHOENIX Research Center focuses on clinical, patient-centered and translational research with a focus on inflammatory skin diseases and fungal infections. As an employee you will become part of an active and inspiring environment, where we together with Danish and international partners carry out research within national and global epidemiology, prediction of disease development and personalized medicine.

Responsibilities

The job offers a varied daily life with both clinical and administrative tasks. We can offer work with professional development opportunities in clinical research and a high degree of flexibility and independence.

Your individual tasks will include

• Close contact with study patients, clinicians and sponsors (via phone, email and in person)
• Coordinating study visits in collaboration with the center's research secretary
• Screening and enrolling trial participants in collaboration with the project physician
• Carrying out clinical procedures and monitoring
• Data collection (questionnaires, conversations)
• Medication handling
• Documentation and other administrative tasks in e.g. CRF/eCRF.

Qualifications

We are looking for a future colleague with an interest in dermatology and clinical research.

Formal requirements

• Authorization as a nurse
• Experience with clinical research and pharmaceutical trials
• Experience with GCP and research-related procedures
• Reads and speaks Danish and English at a level that enables informing about clinical studies and participating in professional meetings with international partners

It would be an advantage if you

• Have experience with dermatology patients with inflammatory diseases
• Are curious to learn more about often overlooked and undertreated skin conditions

Salary and employment terms

The position is a 3-year part-time appointment (20 hours per week) in daytime service and without weekend work in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between Danish Regions and the Danish Nurses Organization. Working hours are planned for days with study participation.

There may possibly be an extension.

Start date : January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

You will report daily to the Project Manager, Doctor, PhD Rune Kjærsgaard Andersen and Professor, Chief Physician Ditte Marie Saunte.

Authorized health professionals with patient contact who were educated in another EU/EEA country than Denmark must, when employed in the Capital Region of Denmark, meet the language requirements in Danish. *Authorized health professionals with patient contact who were educated in another EU/EEA country than Denmark must, upon employment in the Capital Region of Denmark, have passed a Danish test (Danish Training 3, corresponding to the 9th grade exit exam) or at least be able to pass the test no later than 1 year after employment, or have obtained equivalent Danish language competencies in other ways.

The Danish test must be passed with at least the following scores: • spoken communication with a score of 10 • reading comprehension with a score of 7 • written expression with a score of 7
