Property caretaker in Vendsyssel

For our partner in Vendsyssel, we are seeking a property caretaker who will help ensure well-functioning homes and good surroundings for residents.

You will become part of a housing organization that works with operation, letting, maintenance and development of social housing in North Jutland. The organization's focus is to create attractive homes and good conditions for residents.

The position is primarily an operations role, where you will be responsible for daily maintenance and for ensuring that the housing area appears well-kept and inviting. You work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues, inspectors and residents.

You will be a visible person in the area and will have an important role in daily contact with residents. Therefore, it is crucial that you can combine practical craftsmanship with good service and proper communication.

Job tasks

• Daily operation and maintenance of buildings, common areas and technical installations
• Smaller repairs and practical trades tasks
• Maintenance of green spaces and outdoor areas
• Contact with residents for fault reports and service tasks
• Supervision of craftsmen and external partners
• Contribute to order, safety and a presentable housing area

Professional qualifications

• You have experience as a property caretaker, janitor, tradesperson or similar
• You have practical understanding of buildings, maintenance and technical installations
• You have a B driving license
• You can work independently and plan your tasks
• You follow tasks through to completion and ensure a proper solution
• You meet residents and partners in a warm and professional manner
• You contribute positively to collaboration with colleagues and take responsibility for common tasks

Success in the job

• After 1 month you will have gained familiarity with the housing areas, routines and the key collaboration relationships
• After 3 months you independently handle the daily operational tasks and resident inquiries
• After 6 months you actively contribute to ensuring high resident satisfaction and a well-maintained housing area
