As Supervisor, Quality , you will be a central part of the production at Orbital & Gear Solutions (OGS) in Nordborg , where we produce control units and hydraulic motors for customers around the world. You will have management responsibility for a team of approximately 22 quality operators and become the driving force behind daily quality performance.

You will have a broad surface of contact and work closely with production, engineering, procurement and suppliers. Success in the role is to bring together an engaged and purpose-driven team around common goals, deliver results through data-driven decision-making, and ensure that quality is always in focus.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead, coach and develop a team of approximately 22 quality operators and create an environment characterized by collaboration, accountability and respect.
• Ensure safe and efficient daily operations through planning, coordinating resources and following up on SQDCI goals via daily board meetings.
• Drive ongoing quality improvements through systematic problem solving, fact-based analyses and LEAN methods with a focus on both corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate closely with production, engineering, procurement and suppliers to resolve quality challenges and prevent recurrence.
• Foster a culture , where quality, ownership and continuous improvements are a natural part of daily work, while supporting the department's budget management and performance.
• Persistent in our approach to quality, based on a fundamental understanding of the cost of quality (Cost of Quality).

What We're Looking For

Mandatory Qualifications

• Experience in management in a manufacturing or near-production organization.
• Practical experience with quality work and continuous improvements in a production environment.
• A structured, systematic and data-driven approach to problem solving and decision making.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration across production, engineering, procurement and/or suppliers.
• Fluent Danish as well as good English skills, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LEAN and structured improvement tools.
• Experience with supplier quality or quality management in a manufacturing company.
