About the job
Would you like to help create the best conditions for children and young people with special needs and become part of a warm, professionally strong and engaged community?
Holbæk Municipality strengthens the authority area and seeks an advisor for the Special Team, where you will have a central role in ensuring well-being, development and coherence for children and young people with disabilities, illness or complex support needs.
About the Special Team
The Special Team works with children and young people who have significant disabilities, serious illness or complex support needs. The team handles both compensatory services, preventive interventions and longer-term support procedures. We work closely with PPR, Family House, schools, day care, the health sector and the municipality's other authority departments.
In the team we have administrative staff who support case processing and among other things handle calculation of lost earnings and compensation services. You will as an advisor primarily handle contact with citizens, social-legal assessments and the general case processing.
In winter 2026 we will start a two-year collaboration with the Social and Housing Agency's Task Force with a special focus on the Special Team, where everyone in the authority will play a central role in the ongoing development.
The Special Team consists of a team leader, a professional consultant, 16 skilled advisors and 2 administrative staff.
Your tasks consist of authority case processing under the Child Act, including that
- process applications for compensation, lost earnings, supportive interventions and respite/relief
- prepare scoping, child welfare investigations, decisions and plans
- ensure systematic and legally compliant documentation
- actively involve children, young people, families and networks in solutions
- collaborate cross-professionally with PPR, day care, schools, family therapists and other professionals
- participate in meetings, network processes and coordinate complex cases
- work in a solution-oriented manner and contribute to professional development in the team

With us you become part of a professionally strong and engaged work community where we help each other and work with meaning. We offer, among other things:
- A strong team with humor, engagement and high professionalism
- Thorough introduction and regular sparring
- Supervision and access to consultants and lawyers
- Flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work with consideration to operations
- Professional development and continuing education including ICS and LØFT
