About the job

Electronics Developer

Do you want to help develop the future HW solutions for Nilfiск’s next generation of products?

We are looking for a skilled electronics developer to join our HW team in our technology department, where we develop HW and SW solutions for our entire product portfolio on a global scale

We are seeking a candidate for a full-time position, with the workplace at Industrivej 1, Hadsund. You will report to Head of HW and SW Systems, Thomas Kjeldsen.

Primary responsibilities

You will be involved in all phases of development, from specification through design, implementation and testing to final verification and approval. Your primary tasks will consist of:

· Design of new and improvement of existing electronic components for controlling high-pressure cleaners, industrial vacuum cleaners, and industrial floor cleaners.

· Primary focus on analog and digital electronics development, with involvement in power electronics development.

· Maintain design documentation of development activities and ensure design reviews.

· Primary design in Altium for schematic and layout.

· Specification and execution of test and validation plans for both functional and regulatory tests.

· Close collaboration with the SW team throughout the entire development process

· Responsible for test specification for production testing, and ensure DFM in collaboration with external EMS.

· Ensure good dialogue and sparring between R&D, EMS and production.

Your new Team

You will become part of an HW/SW Team of 18 people, where we work closely together in small project teams, delivering embedded HW and SW solutions to all Nilfisk’s global R&D sites, hence there may be travel days. We have an informal and flexible work environment with the possibility of remote work since we value work-life balance.

Your Profile

Ideally you have +3 years of experience from a similar job as an electronics developer. You are an experienced user of design software for both schematic and layout and have experience in collaboration with EMS providers and various test houses for compliance testing of e.g. EMC and EMI. You have a diploma or master’s degree or equivalent. You write/speak Danish and English fluently, and enjoy engaging in technical discussions in both languages.

As a person you are structured and methodical in all phases of the development process, and you document your work from specification to verification. You work systematically, analytically and goal-oriented. You are a team player who helps and shares your knowledge with your team.

Interested?

If this is your next career opportunity, please apply via our career site as soon as possible as we hire as soon as we have the right candidate. If you have questions, you are welcome to contact Thomas Kjeldsen, Head of HW and SW Systems at 51541553 or [email protected]
