RE-ADVERTISEMENT - Visitator with a desire for development and interdisciplinary collaboration

The Visitation area, handling short and acute citizen pathways, is seeking an experienced visitator for our visitator team.

The position is initially 34 hours/week with a starting date of December 1, 2026.

The Visitation unit in Health & Elderly is in an exciting phase, where we are among other things in full swing implementing the values and provisions of the new Elderly Act, developing the visitator role and, together with the rest of the organization, finding new ways for joint task execution. We are therefore seeking a visitator who wants and has the competencies to actively participate in the process.

The tasks will include

• Case processing under the Elderly Act and the Services Act, for example regarding holistic care, personal care and practical help, arrangements for self-chosen helper, care leave, short-term placements, elder and nursing homes, etc.
• To make legally sound decisions based on a holistic perspective and communicated transparently and understandably to the citizen
• Accurate and timely documentation
• Presence in home care and nursing roughly 1-2 times a week
• Participation in interdisciplinary meetings within the fixed teams
• Facilitation and relational coordination around a rehabilitative and multidisciplinary approach, holistic and coherent interventions, involvement of relatives and other relevant actors, etc.
• Collaborative discussion about direction and possibilities in the individual citizen's pathway

We want you to

• have a health professional education as a nurse, occupational therapist or physiotherapist
• have knowledge of the joint municipal documentation method, Common Language 3
• master the ability to communicate so that citizens, relatives and partners feel met and heard - even in pressured situations
• are able to create an overview and gather the necessary information in complex cases and situations
• are willing and understand working in a politically governed organization

In selecting candidates, special emphasis will be placed on

• Authority experience and training as a visitator
• Experience from the health and elderly sector
• Independence and ability to self-plan
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• The ability and willingness to make decisions in complex situations
• Solution- and opportunity-focused
• Desire to develop one's own and the group’s competencies for the benefit of the whole
