RE-ADVERTISEMENT - Visitator with a desire for development and interdisciplinary collaboration

The Visitation area, short and acute citizen pathways, is seeking an experienced visitator for our visitator group.

The position is initially 34 hours per week with commencement on 1 December 2026.

Visitation in Health & Older People is in an exciting time, where we, among other things, are in full swing with implementing the values and provisions of the new Elderly Act, developing the visitator role and together with the rest of the organization finding new ways for joint task execution. We therefore seek a visitator who wants and has the skills to actively participate in that process.

The tasks will among other things consist of

• Case processing under the Elderly Act and the Service Act, for example regarding holistic care, personal care and practical help, self-chosen helper arrangements, care leave, short-term dwellings, elderly and residential homes, etc.
• To make legally valid decisions based on a holistic perspective and communicated transparently and understandably to the citizen
• Accurate and timely documentation
• Presence in home care and nursing about 1-2 times per week
• Participation in interprofessional meetings in the fixed teams
• Facilitation and relational coordination around rehabilitative and multidisciplinary approaches, holistic and coherent interventions, involvement of relatives and other relevant actors, etc.
• Sparring about direction and possibilities in the individual citizen’s pathway

We would like you to

• have a health professional education as a nurse, occupational therapist or physiotherapist
• have knowledge of the common municipal documentation method, Common Language 3
• master communicating so that citizens, relatives and partners experience being met and heard – even in pressured situations
• be able to create an overview and gather necessary information in complex cases and situations
• have the willingness and understanding to work in a politically governed organization

In selecting candidates, special emphasis will be placed on

• Authority experience and education as a visitator
• Experience from the health and elder care sector
• Independence and ability to plan one’s own work
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability and willingness to make decisions in complex situations
• Solution- and opportunity-focused
• Desire to develop own and the group’s competencies for the benefit of the whole
