Reforestation Consultant – come and be part of planting the forests of the future in Jutland

Do you want to help create a new forest in Jutland and make a tangible difference for the climate? If so, maybe you are the one we’re looking for.

What is the job about?

As a forest establishment consultant you will help develop the forests of the future. You create projects that bind CO₂, strengthen biodiversity and make Denmark greener – and you follow them all the way from idea to the first sprouts.

Your day-to-day will be a mix of advisory work, map drawing, client dialogue and field trips where you see the projects you have helped shape develop.

You don’t need to be strong in all areas – if you are more of a sales type or more of an operations type, that’s perfectly fine. The most important thing is that you can and want to work broadly and take responsibility for your projects.

Your day-to-day can look like this, for example

• You advise landowners and municipalities on everything from subsidies to planting compositions.
• You uncover subsidy opportunities and prepare offers.
• You draw forest maps in GIS and develop concrete planting plans.
• You order trees, make agreements with contractors and closely follow the work in the field.
• You ensure that the projects stay on schedule, meet quality – and that the trees have the best conditions.
• You are in contact with customers, partners and colleagues – and make projects grow.

• Have a relevant green education in farming, agriculture, forestry or similar
• Thrive with both advisory work, planning and operations.
• Have practical sense and can find solutions when weather or reality gets in the way.
• Like taking responsibility – and being personally engaged in your projects.
• Appreciate both nature and the good dialogue with customers and colleagues.
