About the job
Would you help employees and students get more out of Microsoft 365 and Copilot? Do you have experience anchoring new ways of working and creating direction and momentum in a team of technical specialists? Then you could become our new adoption consultant with professional coordinating responsibility.
At Roskilde University we want to create more value with our existing technologies and use generative AI to strengthen the quality of task completion. Your task will be to translate the opportunities into everyday improvements. Together with the users, you will identify and qualify needs, contribute to prioritizations and drive initiatives where we test solutions, build competencies and anchor the technology.
The role combines this work with responsibility for the management of our Copilot platform and the professional coordination in the AI, automation and data team. In close collaboration with colleagues in Digital you ensure coherence between users’ needs and the platform’s development. In the team you will create an overview of tasks, estimates and dependencies and coordinate the team’s work and ensure that the initiatives are fully carried through.
About Digital
You will become part of the Digitalization Unit with 16 employees, which belongs to Digital, Roskilde University’s IT, digitalization, information security, as well as project and process methodologies with about 70 employees.
Your daily base is in the AI, automation and data team, which consists of five employees. The team’s main tasks are:
- Responsible for the university’s AI platform and establishment of the technical framework and tools for the use of AI.
- Development and operation of robot solutions and low-code apps as well as establishment of a joint function for Microsoft Power Platform.
- Management and development of Microsoft Fabric with focus on common data concepts, master data, data catalog and self-service data access.
Across the areas, the team is responsible for technical governance, documentation, advisory and sparring. In addition, the team works with adoption of Microsoft 365. Through the development portfolio the team collects and qualifies needs and drives prioritized initiatives that strengthen the utilization of existing technology.
Work tasks
Your main tasks in the job are to
- Ensure professional coordination and progress in the team’s deliveries as well as anchoring results and experiences.
- Create an overview of the team’s tasks and dependencies, facilitate meetings, further develop work processes and support management prioritization through scoping, breaking down tasks and estimating.
- Identify and translate business needs into prioritized digital initiatives.
- Lead and coordinate the implementation of digital initiatives in collaboration with relevant teams and stakeholders.
- Develop common governance and standards for the Microsoft platform that support data security and the university’s choice of a balanced approach to digital sovereignty.
- Have responsibility for the ongoing development and management of the Copilot platform, including an operational roadmap based on strategic goals, priorities and management support.
- Drive adoption and value creation with Microsoft 365 and Copilot across the university.
- Be the university’s primary contact person for Microsoft and advise the leadership on possibilities, risks and value realization when using Microsoft technologies.
Qualifications
We expect that you have a relevant higher education and are an experienced specialist who can drive the development of the Microsoft 365 and Copilot area from strategy and governance to adoption and value creation.
In addition you have
- Extensive experience with the use and implementation of generative AI in a larger public institution
- Extensive experience in coordinating professional work, creating an overview and momentum in a team.
- Long-standing experience with product or portfolio responsibility on the Microsoft platform, including Microsoft 365 and Copilot
- Strong business understanding and ability to translate needs into prioritized initiatives and concrete deliverables
- Experience with adoption and change work, including planning and conducting workshops, training, onboarding and communication.
- Solid understanding of the Microsoft platform’s capabilities and ability to balance common standards with practical needs at the university
- Experience with governance on the Microsoft platform, including security, compliance and knowledge of digital sovereignty
- Structured approach and ability to create momentum in cross-cutting initiatives with many stakeholders
- Ability to express yourself clearly in Danish and English, both written and spoken
There is an advantage if you have
- Experience with collaboration with Microsoft or similar strategic suppliers
- Experience with digital platforms used widely across the organization
- Experience with IT-technical dialogue about roadmap, architecture choices and best practices
- We value that you work independently and in a structured way with responsibility for your own tasks and thrive in a dynamic work environment with many parallel initiatives. You have good organizational understanding, can navigate in complex stakeholder landscapes and manage to create collaboration and momentum across.
