Rotating Chiropractor for the Spine Medicine Outpatient Clinic, Spine Center of Southern Denmark - a part of Lillebaelt Hospital

We are looking for a colleague with an interest in a career in the secondary sector, for a rotation training for six months. The position is 37 hours per week from 1 January 2027 or by agreement. This position is at Kolding Hospital.

Spine Center Southern Denmark is a department at Hospital Lillebælt, covering both spinal medical and spinal surgical assessment and treatment of back patients in the Region of Southern Denmark. Assessment and treatment take place in close interdisciplinary collaboration.

The department receives patients with biomechanical, medical and surgical issues, and thus there is ample opportunity to explore corners of the diagnostic field, develop oneself and make full use of your clinical professional skills. In addition there are good opportunities to put your collaboration skills to use.

In addition to internal interdisciplinarity, there is also collaboration with other departments, for example spinal surgery at OUH and radiology departments in the region. The daily tasks for the department's chiropractors are varied and challenging, and there is ample opportunity for professional and personal development.

Research is a highly prioritized area in the department with substantial both spinal surgical and spinal medical research activity. At the same time we are a clinical training site for chiropractic students, HU doctors and physiotherapist students.

More about the department

The core task of Spine Center Southern Denmark is at a specialist level to assess and treat and hereunder guide the region's back patients according to individual needs. The overarching goal is to improve quality of life for back patients.

Spine Center Southern Denmark is a department with spinal surgical and spinal medical specialties with about 150 staff. We are known for a high level of patient satisfaction and receive back patients from across the Region of Southern Denmark. Annually we receive about 17,000 new referrals and operate up to 900 patients.

Salary and employment

In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.

The position is 37 hours.
