Rotating Chiropractor for the Spine Medicine Outpatient Department, Spine Center Southern Denmark - part of Lillebælt Hospital

We are seeking a colleague, with an interest in a career in the secondary sector, for a rotation internship for a period of six months. The position is 37 hours per week from January 1, 2027 or by agreement. This position is at Kolding Hospital.

The Spine Center Southern Denmark is a department in Sygehus Lillebælt, which covers both spine medical and spine surgical examination and treatment of back patients in the Region of Southern Denmark. Assessment and treatment take place in close interdisciplinary collaboration.

The department receives patients with biomechanical, medical and surgical problems, and there is thus ample opportunity to explore the corners of the diagnostic field, develop yourself and fully utilize your clinical professional competencies. In addition there are good opportunities to put your collaboration skills to use.

In addition to internal multidisciplinary collaboration, there is also collaboration with other departments, for example spine surgery at OUH and the radiology departments in the region. The daily tasks for the department's chiropractors are diverse and challenging, and there is ample opportunity for professional and personal development.

Research is a highly prioritized area in the department with significant both spinal surgical and spinal medical research activity. At the same time we are a clinical educational site for chiropractic students, HU doctors and physiotherapist students.

The core task of the Spine Center Southern Denmark is at specialist level to assess and treat and, including, advise the region's spine patients based on individual needs. The overarching goal is to enhance the quality of life for spine patients.

Spine Center Southern Denmark is a department with spinal surgical and spinal medical specialties with about 150 employees. We are known for a high degree of patient satisfaction and receive spine patients from across the Region of Southern Denmark. Annually we receive about 17,000 new referrals and operate on up to 900 patients.

Salary and employment

In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.

The position is 37 hours.
