Safety Engineer in the field of machine safety

Would you like to become a specialist in machine safety and work with new machines, customers and challenges every week?

We are busy at Conformitech and are therefore looking for a skilled and committed colleague to our team within machine safety. You may have several years of experience in the field, or you may be a recent graduate with a solid technical background and the ambition to become a specialist. We have good experience in training new colleagues, and we place more emphasis on the right person than on a long list of experiences.

Who are we?

Conformitech is a consulting engineering firm with specialists in machine safety, technical documentation and CE marking. We help machine manufacturers, importers and production companies meet the applicable requirements, from risk assessment and safe controls to finished CE documentation, and we work to make CE marking as simple as possible for our customers.

Quality must be top, but the solutions must be pragmatic.

Therefore we always ask: "Does it add value?"

The team today consists of 5 safety engineers with backgrounds such as machine operators and engineers. We have a flat organization with short decision paths, and we collaborate a lot with each other, so you are never alone with a difficult task.

Your daily life

You will be attached to one of our offices either in Nørresundby or Bramming.

You work with many different clients, industries and machines – from stand-alone machines to larger automation and process plants. Projects vary in size and complexity, and you are the client's professional advisor and sparring partner.

How much you are out with clients varies from project to project. Some weeks you are very on the move with inspections and meetings, other weeks you work mostly at the office or from home with the preparation of documentation.

With the new Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, which applies from January 2027, our customers will need even more support, and you will be part of it from the start.

Advisory: Provide guidance on machine safety, including CE marking, risk assessments, design of safeguarding solutions, electrical on machines, Safe control systems and ATEX in accordance with applicable local, international and European directives and standards.

Inspections: Perform inspections and audits of machines and production equipment to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation, including risk assessments, user manuals, reports, notes, validation of safe control systems, LOTO.

Training: Possibility to develop and deliver training in machine safety, CE marking, risk assessments, electrical on machines, safe control systems, ATEX and much more.

Your profile

You have a technical background as an engineer, machine master, electrical installer, automation technologist or similar with relation to machines.

It is important that you

• Thrive with documentation work and take pride in delivering a thorough piece of work
• Can read legislation and standards and translate requirements into practical solutions
• Enjoy having client contact and can say no when safety is at stake
• Work independently and take initiative
• Can express yourself in writing in Danish and English

It is advantageous, but not a requirement, that you have experience with

• CE marking, risk assessment, user manual
• Safe control systems
• ATEX knowledge
• Safexpert or similar tools
