Case-handling occupational therapist sought for the Assistive Devices Team in Glostrup Municipality

We are looking for a case-handling occupational therapist or someone with relevant experience for the Assistive Devices Team in Glostrup Municipality. We can offer a position of 32-37 hours per week from December 1, 2026.

We imagine that you are trained as an occupational therapist, physiotherapist or similar. The most important is that you have an interest in assistive devices under the Social Services Act, sections 112, 113, 114, 116.

We are a small team that handles Glostrup Municipality's tasks within assistive devices, support for car purchase, home adaptation, children's cases, administrative tasks, elderly- and disability-friendly housing, etc.

You will become part of a team consisting of 4 occupational therapists and 2 administrative case handlers. We sit in one shared office, where there is good opportunity for sparring. We have a high degree of professional pride and place emphasis on quality and professionalism in our case processing. We maintain close cooperation with the Visitation Office, Home Care, and the Training Centre, and we focus on rehabilitation.

Glostrup is a small municipality where we have good knowledge of most of the citizens we deal with. The Assistive Devices Team is located in Training and Aids, which is part of the Center for Health and Welfare.

In the Assistive Devices Team we handle referrals for technical and person-borne assistive devices for all age groups, home adaptation, elderly- and disability-friendly housing, and support for car purchase.

We expect that you

• Have experience with case processing under the Social Services Act § 112
• Have experience with or a desire to learn case processing of applications for car purchase support under the Social Services Act § 114
• Have the willingness and courage for the authorities’ duties
• Are independent, flexible and can thrive in a busy daily life
• Are outgoing and good at talking with the municipality’s citizens
• Are good at collaborating in a team and with many different partners
• Are good at communicating both orally and in writing
