Sales Assistant for BOXIT Risskov

We are looking for someone who is motivated by working with many different tasks, and who would like to become part of a small team where each individual has a great influence on daily life. Here at BOXIT we are a group of dedicated employees who, together as a team, handle all the tasks that several business units bring with them. As a sales assistant you will become part of this community with diverse tasks in our depo room department, which is located in Risskov.

BOXIT is a privately-owned group that is a leader within our business areas, where with our 14,000 depo rooms, 7,000 containers and numerous commercial leases we hold a strong position in the Danish market. We are heading into an exciting future with large growth plans in the coming years.

Our employees are spread across several locations throughout the country. Right now we need a new employee for a full-time position in our BOXIT department at Stokagervej in Risskov.

Varied tasks and responsibilities We need a sales assistant who is keen to tackle tasks that span a wide range, from checkout and sales, to routine tasks in the shop and in the department with rental of depo rooms and offices.

The following are part of the task palette

• Customer service in our shop as well as by telephone.
• Advise customers on the right solution that fits their needs.
• Daily practical tasks in the department, which primarily consist of tidying up, cleaning and similar.
• Care of our existing commercial customers.
• Occasional tasks at our office hotel (Flexoffice).

As the above indicates, your areas of work will be practically oriented and span a broad range in relation to the needs that may arise during the workday. You will report to Jan, who is the department manager in Risskov.

We imagine the following fits you Obviously you are an experienced sales assistant who has tried something similar in your work life – or you are driven by the desire to learn.

You will probably have the following in your background

• Solid experience in sales.
• Familiarity with using IT, with the willingness and ability to work in new systems.
• A skilled salesperson who takes pride in delivering good customer service.
• Used to, or open to, flexible working hours and weekend shifts.
• You work independently and with commitment.
• A desire to solve varied practical tasks in a large department with many square meters.
• A car available, as you may be summoned by the on-call phone in the evening and at weekends.

As a person you value propriety and credibility highly. At the same time you possess a good sense of order, and you can keep an overview when it is busy. We are looking for a team player who wants to become part of our crew with 3 colleagues in the department.

At BOXIT we rent depo rooms on a self-storage principle to private and commercial customers at 12 locations in Jutland and Funen. At some of these locations we have office hotels, from which we rent offices to smaller companies. In addition we rent and sell ship containers to private and commercial customers. In our group we employ about 90 skilled and well-qualified employees.
