SAP service owner in Banedanmark's IT department (maternity leave cover)

We are looking for a maternity leave cover for the position as SAP Service Owner from 1 October 2026 to 1 August 2027.

As an SAP Service Owner you will have an exciting job in an environment with engaged colleagues, high professional standards and an opportunity to make your mark on the development of our SAP S/4HANA solution.

You will become part of Banedanmark's IT department and the SAP System and Maintenance team, which consists of 16 dedicated employees. The team is responsible for supporting, maintaining and developing Banedanmark's SAP solutions in collaboration with the various divisions at Banedanmark and a number of external partners.

The work in the team largely consists of being the link between the business super users who use the SAP solutions and the external partners who handle the more technical part of the support and development of the solutions. The team also has the IT-related responsibility to ensure that the SAP solutions are secure, coherent and قابل الدعم.

Banedanmark has a large HR solution in SAP, which includes SAP HCM and SuccessFactors as well as a number of self-developed solutions for managing railway safety plans, locomotive driver certificates and job and position descriptions. There are also integration solutions against the State Payroll System (SLS) and NemRefusion. In relation to the development of the HR solutions, we are currently facing a conversion of our HCM solution to H4S4, followed by a number of business development projects across the entire SAP HR area.

As an SAP service owner you will share responsibility for the SAP HR modules with the other SAP service owner, with whom you will naturally have close collaboration. Among other things, you will be responsible for the modules Organizational Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA) and SuccessFactors Learning. Responsibility for the modules related to time, payroll and staffing lies with the other SAP Service Owner.

You must take responsibility for development

You, together with another SAP service owner in the area, will be responsible for ensuring that the mentioned SAP solutions that support the maintenance of the railway are secure, coherent and maintainable from an IT perspective. In daily terms, this means that you must:

• be the closest IT partner for the super users and suppliers and act as a sparring partner and link in fault correction and development tasks
• have an overview of the overall technical solution in your area and approve technical solution designs and documentation
• ensure that fault correction and changes are carried out via the agreed processes and documented and implemented within the financial budget
• participate in projects and thereby ensure that new solutions are secure, coherent and maintainable, including compatible with existing solutions
• advise the business units on the possibilities for SAP support of their business processes
• contribute to updating processes and the service catalog in ServiceNow, where most of our processes are supported

Structured approach to tasks and focus on overview and collaboration

To apply for the position, it is required that you have hands-on experience working with SAP, and it would be an advantage if you have experience with some of the aforementioned SAP systems – particularly SAP HCM.

As a person you are structured and create an overview for yourself and your colleagues. You have a process-oriented mindset and can collaborate across all levels.

In addition, the job requires that you thrive in a cross-functional and coordinating role, where daily life often involves a variety of tasks and with wide contact with both users and suppliers.

Salary and terms of employment

If you are an academic, you will be employed under the then applicable agreement between the Ministry of Finance and several academic organizations for academics in the state.

You will be placed based on academic seniority and experience as a legally qualified senior at the base level according to the applicable agreement, which you can find here and the Employee and Competency Agency's salary overview, which you can find here.

Depending on your qualifications and competencies there is a possibility for negotiation of a supplement. There will be an employer-financed pension scheme of 18.07% attached.

Otherwise you will be employed under the then applicable General Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organization – The Civil Service Area (OAO-S general agreement) and the organizational agreement for IT employees (KODEX).

The position is, as a rule, placed in salary grade 4 or 5 according to the applicable agreement, which you can find here and the Employee and Competency Agency's salary overview, which you can find here.

Depending on your qualifications and competencies there is a possibility for negotiation of a supplement. In addition, the total salary will include an employer-financed pension scheme of 16%.
