Service Manager for the Brand & Security Department in Central- and Northern Jutland

Who we are

ELCON is a nationwide installation company with around 1,000 employees spread across 16 locations in Denmark. We work broadly with technical solutions and are part of promoting the green transition with a focus on quality, collaboration, and long-term customer relationships.

In our Brand & Security business area we work with installation, service, and maintenance of solutions including, among others, fire systems, alarm systems, surveillance, and access control. We are about 90 employees who every day deliver high quality and professional advice to our customers.

The job

As Service Manager you will have overall responsibility for the service business in Aarhus, Viborg, and Grenaa.

You will play a central role in ensuring continued growth, high customer satisfaction, and sound finances, while you develop the organization and create the best framework for the employees.

You will have direct managerial responsibility for four service managers and create results through them. You set direction, monitor progress, and ensure that operations, resources, and quality go hand in hand.

An important part of the role is also to develop the customer portfolio and identify opportunities for cross-selling and further development of our services in close cooperation with the customers. As a member of the management team you contribute to cooperation and development across the organization.

Your profile

We are looking for an involved leader who creates following and develops people, while the business moves forward.

You have experience with personnel management and are motivated by developing people, creating engagement, and ensuring forward movement in the organization. Perhaps you have experience in leading leaders, or perhaps you are an experienced department head ready for the next step.

Your background may be from the fire- and security industry, but this is not a requirement. You may also come from another technical service- or project business. The most important is that you have business acumen, thrive close to customers, and can create results through your employees.

You have a commercial mindset and the ability to view the business from the customer's perspective. You understand what creates value for customers, and contribute to strengthening both relationships and business.

As a person you are visible, proactive, and motivating. You manage to set a clear direction, gain support for new initiatives, and build good relationships across the organization. At the same time you enjoy being close to both managers and employees across locations and meet people at eye level.
