Seamstress or sewing room supervisor wanted for Friluft Service in Skovlunde

Do you have experience sewing and repairing textiles, and do you take pride in good craftsmanship? Then you might be our new colleague at Friluft Service.

We are looking for a skilled seamstress for our sewing studio in Skovlunde. If you also have experience planning work and leading others, there is a possibility to become a sewing studio manager with responsibility for daily coordination.

Friluft Service is a family-owned company that works with repair, washing and impregnation of equipment for camping and marine. We repair, among other things, boat canopies, sprayhoods, sails, tents and fore-tents.

Your tasks

• Sewing, fitting and repair of canopies, tents, fore-tents and other textile products.
• Replacement of zippers, windows and damaged textile parts.
• Repair and reinforcement of seams and stitching.
• Cutting and preparation of materials.
• Quality control of the finished work.

As sewing studio manager you will also be responsible for planning and allocating tasks, following up on quality and delivery times, as well as guiding and training colleagues. You will also participate in the practical sewing work.

We are looking for someone who

• Has relevant experience as seamstress, sailmaker, tailor or from similar work.
• Can operate industrial sewing machines and preferably has experience with heavy textiles.
• Works independently, carefully and with an eye for detail.
• Is responsible and good at collaborating.
• Can maintain an overview when there are several tasks in progress.

If you are applying for the position as sewing studio manager, we also place emphasis on experience with coordination, training or leadership.
