Security guard apprentice for Randers Municipality's Property Service

Would you like to train as a security guard, and learn how to work with surveillance and security? Where you learn to use and handle security equipment and prevent fire and the prevention of theft, vandalism and personal injury? Do you want to develop your professional, social and personal competencies? then you might be our new security guard trainee.

Apprenticeship period

You are in the basic course, and would like to have your internship with Facilities Management. Employment is conditional on passing the basic course.

Practice site

Facilities Management is responsible for administration, security, operation, maintenance and construction of the municipal buildings. Facilities Management is divided into 3 sections and a staff unit, where you will be attached to the Technical Service and Security section in the Security and Guard team. You will be trained in security tasks at different locations. You will experience guard duties at all hours of the day and night, both fixed guard and roaming guard.

• can demonstrate good conduct “in public”
• have a driver’s license
• have a conflict-deescalating approach to situations
• are energetic, independent and eager to learn
• have flexibility regarding working hours
• are proactive and engaged in your training and take responsibility for your own learning
• are open, outgoing and have good collaboration skills
• can present a criminal and child protection certificate
