Facilities Service Technician Trainee for Technical Department, Gødstrup Regional Hospital

The Technical Section is seeking a property service technician apprentice who will help develop the physical framework of an innovative hospital.

The Operations Department is responsible for the distribution and servicing of assistive devices, Information, hospital services and daily operation and maintenance of the hospital unit's buildings, technical installations and facilities at Regionshospitalet in Gødstrup, the Health Houses in Lemvig, Holstebro and Ringkøbing, as well as our health and care units located in 7 places in the Region. The Operations Department employs about 430 staff.

The Technical Section belongs to the Operations Department organizationally and works based on the region's values – dialogue, competence, and boldness – as well as the hospital's own vision of being the hospital of possibilities. We are a trust-based section with delegated responsibility and a high degree of self-management. The Technical Section consists of about 45 employees, distributed among the trade groups Building and Project, Electrical and Electrical Safety, Logistics, and Plumbing and Mechanical areas.

In addition to daily operations, which include maintenance of about 260,000 m2 and about 10,000 equipment units, we also work with construction, rearrangement and renovation projects. In the Technical Section there are 2 sectional leaders who have cross-cutting tasks across the entire hospital unit.

• Have completed the basic course (GF2) or are starting the basic course (GF2) for the training before the training period starts.
• Have hands on skilled hands.
• Have a valid driving license for a passenger car.
• Can use the Microsoft Office suite at a normal user level and have good knowledge of IT programs
• Are efficient, systematic, persistent, follow up and conclude.
• Have good collaboration skills, an overview and decisiveness.
• Are outgoing and have an inclusive and empathetic approach to your surroundings.

Working hours: Full-time 37 hours/week

Salary and terms of employment: According to applicable collective agreement and throughout the entire main training period. Basic Course 2 is also remunerated by the Technical Section.
