We are looking for a responsible and service-oriented security officer for weekend and weekday work at Museum Ordrupgaard, a museum with a prestigious collection and a strong architectural profile.

About Museum Ordrupgaard

Museum Ordrupgaard is a government-owned art museum beautifully situated among green areas in Charlottenlund, just a stone's throw from Copenhagen. Our collections include French impressionism and Danish art with names such as Vilhelm Hammershøi and L.A. Ring. The museum has a strong architectural profile with Finn Juhl's House, the Zaha Hadid extension from 2005, and Snøhetta's newest addition from 2021 - all only about 30 minutes by train from Copenhagen Central Station.

About the position

As a security officer at Museum Ordrupgaard you play a vital role both in safeguarding our collections and in ensuring a great experience for guests. Your day will include, among other things:

• Security in the exhibition halls and Finn Juhl's House
• Participation in patrol tasks and possibly the setup and takedown of special exhibitions
• Tasks related to the execution of events and functions
• Occasional tasks related to security, service and operations

About you

We are looking for a person who has a natural flair for delivering good service and can stay calm in stressful situations.

It is a requirement that you

• have completed AMU security course: ”Basic course for security wardens”
• are flexible and responsible
• have the ability to communicate clearly in both Danish and English
• can obtain security clearance
• can work weekdays, as well as every other weekend and possibly on holidays when the museum is open

It is a plus if you have

• experience with security tasks from similar jobs
• familiarity with handling artworks

Employment terms

Salary and terms of employment follow the current joint agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations - The State Sector (OAO-S joint agreement), as well as Circular on the organizational agreement for security guards in the state, etc.

The positions are part-time and, as a rule, about 25 hours per week with shifts on weekdays, weekends and holidays.
