About the job.

Rødovre Municipality has its own 24/7 staffed Patrol Corps, which keeps a watchful eye on the municipality's buildings and other valuables. Respond quickly to alarms of break-ins, theft and vandalism, and create security for employees and users of the municipality's buildings.

The patrol corps consists of 8 staff – 8 Guards, 2 security technicians, a deputy for the duty manager, and a duty manager.

Tasks include, among others

• Supervision and patrolling of the municipality's buildings and areas.
• Alarm response, patrolling, assault response and service runs.
• Contact with Police and other authorities.
• Operations responsible for ABA and handheld extinguishing equipment.
• Operation of security systems.

Your Profile.

• You must be able and willing to work at all times of the day, including weekends - 8- and 12-hour shifts.
• Working hours are scheduled on all days of the week including Sundays and holidays. Expect to work every 2nd weekend.
• Working hours Monday to Thursday are from 14:00 to 22:00, and 22:00 to 06:00. Weekend including Friday from 06:00 to 18:00, and from 18:00 to 06:00.
• Having completed AMU Basic Security Course is a requirement. Experience with AP driving and patrolling is an advantage.
• Criminal record and child-safety clearance without remarks.
• Driver's license of at least category B.
• Be a team player.
• Participate in on-call duty scheme every 2 weekends.
• Service-minded and well-spoken.
• Can work independently. Is calm, action-oriented, disciplined and capable of taking action.
• In good physical shape.
• Punctual and duty-minded.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good Danish in both writing and speaking.

Salary and employment terms

According to the applicable collective agreement and in agreement with the negotiating organization FOA1.
