About the job
Do you want to work with some of the market's most exciting cybersecurity projects – and at the same time have the freedom to shape your own day?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Cyber Security Consultant who wants to combine deep technical expertise with close client dialogue and advisory work.
LCG is experiencing significant growth and wishes to strengthen the consulting business with a profile that thrives at the intersection of technology, business, and people. Here you will have the opportunity to work with customers across private companies, the enterprise segment, and the public sector, where the task is to understand the customer's needs and translate them into modern, effective and pragmatic security solutions.
The role is ideal for you who are motivated to create value for customers through advising, design and implementation of security solutions – and who also desire great freedom, high professionalism and influence on your own day-to-day.
The role
As a Senior Cyber Security Consultant you will be a central part of LCG's consulting team and will be responsible for both advisory, design and implementation of security solutions for customers.
You will work closely with customers to identify risks, understand business needs and establish solutions that create real security value. The tasks span widely and can include everything from technical advisory, workshops and solution design to implementations, health checks and optimization of existing security environments.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to presales activities, where you help qualify customer needs, solution sketches, estimates and technical presentations.
In the role, Incident Response can be part of the work naturally, but this is not a dedicated Incident Response position.
Your profile
You probably have a minimum of five years' experience in cyber security and a solid technical foundation that enables you to navigate safely in both smaller and highly complex IT environments.
You combine technical depth with a strong consulting mindset and are motivated to immerse yourself in new problems, create momentum and find solutions that make sense for each individual client.
In addition, LCG would like you to
- Have a relevant higher education degree or equivalent experience
- Have obtained relevant certifications within cyber security
- Work securely in both Windows and Linux environments
- Have experience with several of the central security domains such as Endpoint Security, DLP, Zero Trust, Cloud Security and Network Security
- Be accustomed to working with modern security platforms and technologies
- Can communicate complex technical issues in a way that creates value for customers and stakeholders
As a person, you are curious, independent and professional in your approach. You thrive in dialogue with customers and manage to build trust through both your professionalism and your ability to understand their business.
Why consultants choose LCG
LCG is a specialized cybersecurity company focusing on advisory, implementation and development of modern security solutions. The company works closely with some of the industry's strongest technology partners and has built a position that provides access to both exciting customers and complex projects.
Among others, LCG is
- Acredited TrendAI partner – one of only four globally – with responsibility for the Nordic and Baltic regions and a seat on the international advisory board
- Rising Star winner at Broadcom in 2025 and member of the European advisory board
- Among the first companies in Denmark with full ISO 27001 certification
- Specialists in both defensive security, offensive security, Incident Response and GRC
The company remains relatively small with around 15 full-time specialists and a strong network of external consultants, but the ambitions are large, and there is a short path from idea to action.
Flexibility, professionalism and community
At LCG, they believe that capable people deliver their best work when they have freedom, responsibility and ongoing development opportunities.
Therefore an attractive compensation package, strong development opportunities and ongoing investment in relevant certifications and professional specialization are offered.
Working hours and location are flexible. The headquarters in Næstved serves as a natural meeting point for professional events, social activities and sparring with colleagues, but day-to-day life is arranged with great freedom and flexibility.
The culture is characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit, high professionalism and a strong sense of community. Investments are made in relationships between colleagues through social activities, barbecue evenings, professional events and shared experiences both in Denmark and abroad.
At the same time there is great respect for the balance between work and private life. Flexibility is not just something you talk about – it is a natural part of everyday life.
Practical
It is important that you master Danish in writing and speaking, as many of their clients prefer Danish-speaking consultants. All nationalities are welcome, and the company's internal working language is English.
