Senior Data Engineer, Copenhagen

The position can be filled from our office in Copenhagen.

Solita's Danish Data & AI team is growing, and we are therefore seeking several Data Engineers with solid experience in Microsoft Azure, Databricks and Power BI, who will help design and build modern data platforms and analytics solutions for large customers across industries.

What will your role be?

As a Senior Data Engineer at Solita, you will be a central part of our data team, where you help develop and optimize advanced data platforms for our customers.

You contribute throughout the project lifecycle – from analysis and design to the implementation of robust data pipelines and data products that create real business value.

As a Senior Data Engineer in our Data/AI team you will take on an outward-facing consultant role, where part of the work takes place on-site at the client. Here you participate, among other things, in presales activities and provide technical advisory, where you apply your professional expertise to translate business needs into effective and value-creating data solutions.

Your primary responsibilities

• Analysis, design and implementation of data pipelines
• Development of ETL processes, data warehouses and lakehouses
• Implementation and maintenance of data platform technologies such as Databricks, MS Fabric or Snowflake
• Working with technologies such as Databricks, MS Fabric, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Spark, Python/Scala

Who are you?

You have experience as a consultant and thrive in an outward-facing role with several simultaneous projects. You have solid experience with modern technologies and data platforms and are motivated by professional development in an innovative environment where quality and business value are in focus.

We expect that

• You have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data engineering and data solutions
• You have many years of experience with technologies such as Databricks, Data Factory, MS PowerBI and Azure
• You are familiar with data modeling, ETL, analytics, BI, AI/ML architecture
• You have experience with Python, SQL and PL/SQL

You work independently, in a structured and collaborative way, and you communicate fluently in both Danish and English – both spoken and written.
