Senior System Consultant for the System Services Team in Netcompany Banking Services: Copenhagen, Aarhus or Aalborg

Do you want to help secure a good user experience for our customers? In the System Services team in Netcompany Banking Services we work to support banks' use of our system solutions. We are looking for a new colleague who will join the work of ensuring stable and efficient use of the systems - preferably with insight into the finance and banking sector, and who can contribute to making complex systems more usable in practice.

You will become part of a professional team where collaboration is central. In close collaboration with colleagues in NBS and System Services you will work on optimizing customers' use of the solutions. The tasks include process optimization, IT-related tasks, system management and compliance.

Netcompany Banking Services

We deliver a range of IT solutions and services to banks and savings banks in both Denmark and other Nordic countries. We provide a modern, cloud-based core banking platform to more than 50 Nordic banks and have over 2 million end customers. The solutions include daily banking, mobile and online banking, payments, investment, risk management, compliance and open banking.

Responsibilities and technologies

The task consists in supporting customers to achieve an appropriate value from NBS’ core and self-service solutions. This includes, among other things, setup and ongoing adjustment of the systems to support customers' needs and daily operations.

The work takes place in collaboration with specialists in NBS, where knowledge sharing is an integral part of the task solution. In daily work you will have dialogues with both specialists and managers in financial institutions. This requires that you can communicate professional issues clearly and adapt your communication to different target groups, with an understanding of the consequences for both employees and end customers.

Your day-to-day will typically be characterized by tasks such as

• Configure and optimize system settings (e.g., products, interest rates and fees) and provide professional sparring to our customers.
• Advise customers on and promote understanding of NBS’ overall program portfolio.
• Facilitate workshops and reviews of customers’ workflows and system usage.
• Analyze customers’ current set-up and needs with a focus on improvements and future solutions.
• Prepare work instructions and procedures, train in system usage and contribute to implementation and automation of workflows.

About you

In your daily work you will spar with and give good advice to both experts and managers in the banking sector. Therefore, it requires that you have good influence and can communicate issues with an understanding of how it affects employees’ daily work and also their end customers. You are autonomous and pragmatic and can keep the focus on adding value to our customers by spotting new opportunities.

We imagine that you have

• Interest in and insight into banking professional processes and IT systems.
• A few years of experience from banking institutions, preferably through support of IT solutions or other relevant roles.
• Good knowledge of the infrastructure of banking institutions.
• Ideally have experience with NBS’ system world, including configuration.
