We place emphasis on you being approachable, reliable and eager to contribute to a good collaboration. You must be able to use digital tools in connection with, among other things, scanning and ordering of goods and be prepared to learn the systems we work with.

Experience as a service assistant, service employee, warehouse or logistics can be an advantage. Please tell us how your experience and your competencies can be leveraged with us. The position is 37 hours per week. Working hours are mainly during the day, but there may be occasional weekend shifts.

A daily life with variation and responsibility

Our tasks are collected in different task profiles, and the majority of employees participate in job rotation. It provides variation in daily life and the opportunity to work with several functions. You should therefore be eager to learn new tasks, take responsibility and collaborate with colleagues to get the day’s tasks done.

As part of the Technical Department, the Service Center contributes to keeping the hospital’s daily operations running. We solve a wide range of service tasks that support the work in the hospital’s departments, and you will become part of a team of 10 employees.

Examples of tasks that are solved in the team

• Cleaning of rooms, changing rooms and showers
• Service tasks in Blood Tests and Biochemistry, including preparation of requisites for bioanalysts
• Counting, ordering and handling of the hospital’s linen and uniforms
• Managing the lending of ordered assistive devices to admitted and discharged patients
• Waste handling and sorting
• Depot function with responsibility for goods receipt, scanning, ordering and placement of most of the hospital’s goods including mail distribution
• Lending of wardrobe lockers

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience with cleaning – preferably from the hospital sector.
• Has the will and drive to take on different tasks.
• Thrives with practical work and is prepared for it to be physically demanding.
• Meets others with a friendly and service-oriented approach and communicates clearly.
• Is flexible and helpful and contributes to us solving the tasks together.
• Can adapt when the day’s tasks change and is reliable.
• Is engaged, takes responsibility and follows your tasks through to the end.
• Can use IT at a normal user level, as you need to register and acknowledge completed tasks.

About the Service Center

The Service Center primarily handles the service functions behind the clinical work, so doctors and nurses can ensure the best treatment of the patients. We are a department of about 550 employees, keeping the hospital running by ensuring supply of goods and linen, waste handling, meals for patients and staff, cleaning, transport between hospitals, technical repairs, staffing of the hospital’s information services and much more.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement in the area.

In accordance with the Child Protection Act in connection with employment of staff, a criminal background check will be obtained in connection with potential employment. Employment is with Region Midtjylland with service currently at Hospitalsenhed Midt, Service Center.

The position is originally a full-time position.
