Service employee - combined helper and cleaning

At Åbjerggård in Frederikssund we are looking for a janitor who will collaborate to create safe, secure and good surroundings for a group of lovely children and young people with developmental disabilities. Here you will have time to do things properly, and you will become an important part of Åbjerggård's daily life.

We are seeking an experienced tradesperson who wants a job with meaning. The position is 25 hours per week.

What does the work involve?

· Daily operation of buildings and maintenance of cars.

· Repairs and small maintenance tasks in the house

· Maintenance of rooms and common areas

· Updating and maintenance of keys, locks and key fobs

· Contact with external contractors

· Fire and safety tasks

· Collaboration with staff on small and large projects

· Garden work and snow clearance

· A bit of everything at a 24-hour institution that is used every day by children and staff

You will collaborate with our current janitor at Åbjerggård who is employed 12 hours per week. In addition you will have colleagues at our other departments in Snekkersten and Virum. They are janitors you can brainstorm with, and you help each other on larger projects, and there are joint work days on the sites. There may therefore be days with attendance in Snekkersten and Virum. You should expect that, at times, there will be a need for extra effort, e.g. for snow clearing.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who

· Has solid practical experience – e.g. property service technicians, carpenter, mason, electrician, mechanic or similar

· You must be able to work independently, and preferably provide examples of projects you have solved

· Like to get things to work and find good solutions

· Work independently and can plan your own day

· Want to be part of a place with life, children and young people

· Have a good overview and good collaboration skills

· The position is 25 hours per week, 3 working days per week
