Service employee / Mechanic

Are you our new versatile hands at the harbor?

X-Yacht Marina is seeking a passionate and technically strong service assistant / mechanic. Do you have a good command of boat engines, and do you thrive in a varied everyday life where two days are rarely the same? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

About the job

Your primary task will be service, troubleshooting and maintenance of boat engines (inboard and outboard motors). Since we are a lively marina, the work does not stop at the engine room. You will join the daily team, where we work together, and you must therefore be prepared to take on various ad hoc tasks in the harbor area and around the boats.

Your primary duties

• Service, repair and winterization of boat engines and drives.
• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems in the boats.
• Launching, haul-out and placement of boats using the harbor's equipment.
• Ad hoc work in the marina area (maintenance of bridges, buildings and green areas).
• Customer contact and assistance to the harbor's guests and regular sailors.

We imagine that you

• Have solid experience with service and repair of boat engines (e.g., as a boat mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, auto mechanic or similar).
• Have a good general knowledge of boats and can tackle everything from rigging work to minor fiberglass repairs.
• Are a natural handyman and see solutions rather than problems in practical tasks.
• Are service-minded, approachable and thrive in an environment with close customer contact.
• Can work independently, but also be a good team player.
• Have a forklift certificate and/or crane certificate (an advantage, but not an absolute requirement).

We offer

• An exciting and versatile position at one of Denmark's best-known marinas.
• Fresh sea air and an informal tone among engaged colleagues.
• Salary according to qualifications.

Application: Send your application and your CV as soon as possible to [email protected] or call Brian Pedersen at +45 92440409 to hear more about the position. We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis.
