Service-minded, robust, flexible and adaptable service assistant sought for OUH Cleaning and Hospital Service for area 606.

For employment at OUH, Cleaning and Hospital Service, one position as service assistant is hereby announced to be filled on December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The average working time is 37 hours per week with working hours within 06:00-22:30.

There is a shift every 3 weekends.

Tasks for a service assistant

• Primarily cleaning tasks according to the plan in the clinical beds and treatment units
• Transportation tasks and other supporting service in connection with patient treatment
• Responsible for working with and following the department's policies, guidelines and instructions
• Responsible for own development, and together with management to stay up-to-date and acquire new knowledge
• Taking responsibility for on-the-job training of new colleagues in collaboration with the service manager

• You are service-minded and make a difference for the patients
• Show commitment, positive attitude and initiative
• Have the ability and willingness to collaborate across disciplines but also to work independently
• You are robust (physically as well as mentally), and can juggle many tasks and maintain both overview and a good mood - even on very busy days
• You speak, read and understand Danish – also over the phone

Education

• You will, in time, complete the vocational education as a hospital service assistant, if you do not already have it. Furthermore, you must have passed Danish and mathematics at a level equivalent to the 9th grade.

Salary and terms of employment

The region is obliged to inform you about the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base salary, centrally set allowances and pension under collective agreement 32.37 as Service Assistant. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
