Shift Leader, evening shift

As Shift Leader on the evening shift at BESTSELLER Logistics in Haderslev, you will have a central role in ensuring stable operations. At the same time, you become part of the work to continuously improve our processes and get more out of our automated facility.

YOUR TEAM

You will lead up to 20 employees on the evening shift and work closely with the two other Shift Leaders on the same shift.

The team plays an important role in packing the goods that are sent with day-to-day delivery via our automated facility. It requires close coordination in daily operations and a good handover between day, evening and night shifts.

You will become part of BESTSELLER Logistics in Haderslev, where we work to move goods efficiently through our logistics setup and continuously improve the way we work.

YOUR ROLE IN OPERATIONS

As Shift Leader you lead and support your team in the daily operations. You are visible close to the employees and follow up on safety, quality, delivery and costs.

Together with the other Shift Leaders you allocate the work, make decisions when the operation requires it, and address challenges early. You are also responsible for creating clarity for employees through ongoing feedback and follow-up.

Your key areas of responsibility will be

• Lead the daily operations and ensure the right staffing and distribution of work
• Provide ongoing and concrete feedback and conduct development conversations with the employees
• Facilitate daily stand-up meetings with a focus on operations, results and improvements
• Identify and drive continuous improvements in the department
• Follow up on timekeeping and prepare weekly reports to your manager

Your fixed working hours are Sunday to Wednesday from 15:00 to 23:00 and Thursday from 15:00 to 22:30. There may be activities outside these hours in connection with meetings, collaboration and development.

• Develop your leadership through daily sparring, practical experience and BESTSELLER Academy

• Have experience with leadership and are motivated by delivering results through others
• Thrive in an operations-driven role, where you continually have to prioritise and make decisions
• Can create clarity, collaboration and engagement in a team
• Have experience from production or logistics. Experience with automated processes is an advantage
• Have knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma or other methods for continuous improvement
• Are familiar with IT and Microsoft Office
