About the job

Are you passionate about the Danish subject, students' reading and writing development and about developing good teaching together with your colleagues? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for.

About the job and the tasks

We are looking for a academically strong and relationally skilled Danish teacher for grades 0-6, who also takes on a mentor role as culture guide in the school’s pedagogical development and sparring team (PUST).

Our expectations of you

As a Danish teacher we expect you to

  • Create academically strong, varied and motivating Danish teaching.
  • Be passionate about reading, literature and students' language development.
  • Work systematically with students' reading and writing progression.
  • Be able to differentiate the instruction and create participation opportunities for all students.
  • Have clear classroom management and strong relationship skills.
  • Be curious about your own practice and want to develop the teaching together with others.

As a PUST advisor

Guidance with us is practice-oriented. You should therefore be willing not only to talk about teaching, but also to engage in it together with your colleagues as a co-teacher. You will, among other things, be:

  • Planning, implementing and evaluating teaching together with colleagues.
  • Observing and giving practice-oriented sparring.
  • Supporting the school's work with reading, literacy and learning environments.
  • Inspiring the use of relevant analog and digital teaching materials.
  • Contributing to PUST, as the school's academic and pedagogical driving force.

We would like you to have experience with guidance, but it is not a requirement. The most important is that you are academically strong, curious and good at creating trustworthy collaborations.

Why you should choose us

We offer

  • A strong, engaged and ambitious collegial community.
  • An exciting combination of teaching, co-teaching, guidance and pedagogical development.
  • Opportunity to influence the school's PUST and develop the mentor role.
  • A school focused on students' well-being, learning and opportunities to participate.
  • A permanent full-time position at an exciting and well-functioning school with great diversity, where both experienced and younger colleagues are ready to welcome you into the community.
  • A school that particularly excels in close, committed collaboration around the core task and with a large team organization that works as professional learning communities.
  • A professional work environment with room for visions, humor and creativity.
  • Opportunity to work innovatively with design technologies in our makerspace.
  • An attractive health scheme.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement, with the possibility to negotiate qualification and job grade pay.

This is a permanent full-time position with start on 1 December 2026.

If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to send an email to department head Wickie Jørgensen - mail [email protected] or a text message at tel. 24 90 48 20, and you will be called back.

About us

At Løsning School we have about 400 students in 0-9th grade, including 85 students in the school's special department and 27 students in Korning, which is an independent campus. We receive students from the Løsning and Korning school districts and upper secondary students from our feeder schools in Ølsted and Øster Snede.

The core task for the learning area in Hedensted Municipality is ”Together we create movement, so that children and young people in committed communities develop into capable and future-ready people” . At Løsning School we are particularly focused on creating movement for each individual student, i.e., we look for development and progression in the individual student's learning and well-being, and approach the task professionally with the aim of making a positive difference for all our students.

As a profile school for innovation and entrepreneurship, and with a large common municipal special department, we are furthermore especially focused on promoting competencies related to life readiness and the society of the future .

We are characterized by a strong culture of collaboration, where we develop academically and personally. We work professionally with a focus on qualifying the task solution, and together we form a robust community where we take responsibility that everyone succeeds.

As a profile school for innovation and entrepreneurship we purposefully work to strengthen students' competencies in creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. We have set up a makerspace in connection with the school's pedagogical learning center. With these initiatives we will strengthen students' courage for life and love of learning , so they dare try things and do not view mistakes as a failure, but as something that invites learning. This is helped by teaching - many ways to learn , where students experience opportunities to be active and involved in the teaching.

We are a value-based school that seeks the values of respect, engagement and well-being, in everyday language called RET. We value both the small and the large community, and joint RET days, an innovation day, science week, movement day, etc. are an essential part of the school's DNA.

Løsning School is located in Hedensted Municipality, which is an growth-oriented rural municipality focusing on anchoring in the local communities. We value dialogue and local initiative highly. In Hedensted Municipality, citizens are therefore close to democracy, leisure life and the municipal services.
