Skilled mathematics teacher for 4th grade at Stensballeskolen - with the possibility of becoming our new mathematics advisor.

One of our skilled teachers has taken a job closer to home. Therefore we are seeking a skilled teacher in a permanent position for our phase 1 (1st-5th grade). The position includes teaching in mathematics, science/technology (N/T), English, double-teacher hours and other subjects, all for 4th grade.

You will share in class-teacher duties together with a Danish colleague in two of our 4th-grade classes. You will become part of a well-functioning team of teachers and an educational assistant who work closely together on the pedagogical and subject-related tasks.

We have a skilled mathematics advisor at the school and are looking for a partner for her. So if you are interested in this either because you already have the competencies or you are interested in pursuing the education in the future, then this also interests us.

There is scheduled time for collaboration in the team and joint planning for mathematics teachers in the year group. We work according to shared annual plans.

At Stensballeskolen we focus on developing good teaching that creates opportunities for participation for all pupils. We work with participation didactics, e.g., scenario didactics. We share knowledge in the use of AI in teaching and for teacher preparation. We work with the well-being program Skolestyrken.

Stensballeskolen has 3/4 streams and about 800 pupils. The school is located close to the fjord with good opportunities to use nature in all subjects.

Salary and employment terms: In accordance with the applicable collective agreement. The position is permanent and 37 hours.
