School pedagogue at Baltorpskolen, Rugvænget department - one-year maternity-leave substitute

We are seeking a trained school pedagogue for a one-year parental leave cover. Together with professionally grounded colleagues, you will create good development and learning environments for the children in both the school and Ballerup's After-School Care (BFO).

YOUR MOST IMPORTANT TASKS

As a school pedagogue you create coherence between school and leisure time. You support the children's social and academic development in close collaboration with the class team and the pedagogical team in the BFO.

We believe that all children do the best they can. Your task is to create frameworks, structures and relationships that help each child to succeed and become part of the community.

In the BFO you will participate in the daily organization with fixed roles and pedagogical activities, where you contribute with your professionalism and experience.

YOUR COMPETENCIES

We are looking for a school pedagogue who

• is a trained pedagogue and has experience with or is keen to work in school and BFO
• can see everyday life from the children's perspective and meets them with faith in their possibilities
• creates relationships to and between the children and supports that children from the special department become part of the community
• will contribute to developing the school's profile “Ind i verden sammen” and translate it into pedagogical practice.

WHAT YOU GET WITH US

With us you will meet 225 wonderful children from the district and the Speech and Hearing Department. You will become part of an engaged and humorous team with 21 employees with diverse experiences and personalities. As an active practicum school, we prioritise professional sparring and learning.

BFO Rugvænget has moved into new premises. Here you will have the opportunity to shape daily life, the culture and the pedagogical work.

WHO WE ARE

Baltorpskolens Fritidsordning is part of the school's overall organization. We work closely together to create coherence in the children's everyday life.

As a school pedagogue you have hours in the lower primary and in the BFO. The working hours run from 6:30 to 16:45 Monday to Thursday and from 6:30 to 16:30 Friday.

Our pedagogical approach is based on Low Arousal, Friendship and BAL – Ballerup's Analysis of the Learning Environment.

EMPLOYMENT PROCESS AND SALARY

The position is a maternity/paternity leave cover from December 1, 2026 to November 30, 2027.

We expect to hold interviews in week 46.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: November 9, 2026

We offer salary and employment terms according to the agreement for pedagogical staff in day care, clubs and after-school care in the municipalities. Employment is based on local pay-setting principles and after agreement with the negotiating organisation.

The salary range for the position is DKK 35,450.82 – 41,545.16 per month, excluding pension for full-time employment (37 hours per week).

The final salary is set after negotiation between the employer and the trade union that has the negotiating rights in the relevant collective agreement area. The salary depends, among other things, on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
