About the job

We are seeking a school pedagogue for a permanent position, who will be the stable and engaged team colleague who, with professionalism, empathy and a good portion of relational competence, takes responsibility for all children's learning and well-being. You will become part of the SFO team and phase 1, which is grades 0–4. If you have an interest in outdoor life and physical activities with the children, that will be a great plus for our SFO team.

About us

Ødsted School is a small village school with 250 pupils from 0th to 9th grade. We are a district school for Ødsted, Jerlev and the surrounding area with good support from an engaged school board and have a good collaboration with the local council. At the school we have an SFO offering for pupils from 0th to 6th grade, of which we currently have 100 enrolled children.

We are committed to offering all students a socially and academically developing community with engaged pedagogues and teachers. We work with the child at the center and in committed communities – this is the red thread in the students' school day at Ødsted School.

We have been selected to be a development school in Vejle Municipality and participate in a program with many exciting initiatives such as participatory didactics and the development of diverse learning environments for children

We are passionate about creating the good childhood – a life with safety, play, development and community. We see ourselves as the adults' prime movers in the children's everyday life, and we meet both children and each other with presence, smiles and a curious approach.

• Have an education as a pedagogue or equivalent competencies.
• Can create motivation and equal participation opportunities, where you link play and learning together.
• Are skilled at building relationships with all children.
• Are present, acknowledging and responsible towards children, parents and your colleagues.
• Wish to collaborate and contribute to joint reflection on practice and are willing to try new things when something does not work.
• See opportunities and the common thread in being able to support children in both Phase 1 and SFO.
• Bring good humor and be easy to smile and laugh.

Employment terms

Salary and employment terms according to collective agreement and local pay. The position is full-time as of 1 January 2027.
