Skrillingeskolen Special School is seeking 1-2 educators

We are looking for 1-2 pedagogues who have an interest and preferably experience in the autism field. Start as soon as possible or no later than 1 January 2027. The positions are full-time roles of 37 hours per week, converted to an annual norm.

Skrillingeskolen is a municipal primary school for students with general learning difficulties. Our offering is a holistic package with a school part that takes its starting point in the individual pupil, and a special-education after-school program. Teaching follows the Danish Folkeskole Act with reference to the regulations on special education. All pupils are admitted to the school.

At present the school has 86 pupils from 0th to 10th grade and about 40 children in SFO. There are 70 staff across teachers, pedagogues, teaching assistants, physical and occupational therapists, speech–language teachers, and administrative staff.

Some of our pupils, in addition to general learning difficulties, also have other difficulties, such as autism spectrum disorders (ASD), ADHD or similar behavioral disorders, as well as possibly multiple disabilities. At the school we employ special pedagogical knowledge and methods within the various areas in relation to pedagogical practice. There is also emphasis on communication, structure, visualization and recognizability depending on the individual child’s developmental level.

When employed at Skrillingeskolen you are employed for the whole school. The current positions are on the school’s ASD track in the early years/middle years.

As a pedagogue at Skrillingeskolen you work in both the school and the SFO parts. In both places we expect you to create targeted activities that support learning and develop our pupils’ social and personal competences. The pedagogical work is based on close team collaboration across disciplines. Salary and employment terms

Working hours: 37 hours

Starting date: 1 January 2027

Salary placement is according to the collective agreement for pedagogues in day care institutions, after-school programs, clubs etc., our pre-agreements and possibly individual allowances based on special competences, knowledge or experience.

The position’s salary range as a pedagogue will be from DKK 34,802.89 up to DKK 39,722.97, depending on the candidate’s seniority, further education and personal competences.

The salary range is monthly salary excluding pension.
