Sky-Watch – Director of Marketing

Do you want to shape the marketing direction of a fast-growing high-tech defense company? As Director of Marketing at Sky-Watch, you will lead and develop the marketing function across Product Marketing & Strategy, Field & Event Marketing, and Brand & Digital Influence. You will strengthen the strategic level of marketing, set clear priorities and create the framework for a multidisciplinary team of specialists to succeed.

At the same time, you will connect Sky-Watch’s advanced engineering capabilities with customer needs and government procurement requirements, strengthening the company’s positioning and commercial impact in international defense markets.

Working closely with Sales, Business Development and R&D, you will ensure that marketing supports strategic procurement programs, priority accounts and Sky-Watch’s international growth ambitions.

You will report to the VP Marketing and lead a marketing team of five.

Your key responsibilities include

• Product Marketing & Strategy – positioning, go-to-market strategies, technical narratives, CONOPS and tender enablement.
• Field & Event Marketing – international defense exhibitions, live demonstrations and targeted market activities.
• Visual Brand Design & Digital Influence – compelling visual communication, digital narratives and consistent brand positioning.
• ABM & Partner Enablement – targeted initiatives towards priority accounts, procurement programs and international partners.
• People Leadership – develop the marketing team and create clear direction, collaboration and ownership.

To succeed in this role, you have around 10 years of experience within Marketing and Product Marketing in international high-tech companies, preferably within a regulated industry such as aerospace or defense, combined with a few years of leadership experience. You know how to set strategic direction while empowering specialists to take ownership of execution.

You bring experience with Account-Based Marketing, lead generation and partner enablement and understand customer acquisition in public tender-driven markets. Experience with technical product marketing, Tier-1 accounts, international exhibitions and complex hardware and software portfolios will be important in the role, and a strong technical understanding or flair is considered an advantage.

You are based within reasonable commuting distance of Sky-Watch’s location in Støvring or Valby.
