Who are we?

Langagergård Care Center is home to 89 residents distributed across eight living and housing environments plus a secured unit with four residents. The care center is owned by Greve Municipality, while Forenede Care A/S has operated the center since 2012.

With us, residents’ lives, wishes and needs are at the center of everything we do. We work with high professionalism, respect, and care, and we believe that good relationships are the foundation of a good working life.

Each department has its own team leader with whom you will work closely. The team leader is the direct supervisor for the department’s day and evening shifts. The night shift has its own team leader. In the evening shift there is also an on-call supervisor, where it is expected that a Social and Healthcare Assistant can take on this function after training, e.g., during holidays.

We are looking for social and healthcare assistants for different shift patterns

As some of our skilled Social and Healthcare Assistants have progressed to team leaders, are going on maternity leave, or retirement, we therefore seek social and healthcare assistants for day, evening, and night shifts.

• Have completed education as a social and healthcare assistant and hold a valid authorization.
• Are confident in your professional abilities and trust your own professional judgments.
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks.
• Have an eye for the individual resident’s needs, wishes and quality of life.
• Can maintain overview and calm—even when everyday life changes.
• Are willing to express your professional opinion while being open to sparring.
• See documentation as an important part of professional quality.
• Contribute actively to good collaboration across professional groups and shifts.
• Are curious and eager to develop both yourself and our shared practice.
• Meet residents, relatives and colleagues with respect, presence and propriety.

Your tasks

• Provide holistic care and nursing.
• Observe, assess and respond to changes in residents’ conditions.
• Perform relevant health care tasks within your area of competence.
• Ensure professional documentation.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, colleagues and other partners.
• Create safety, presence and continuity for residents.
• Contribute to the development of our professional practice.
• Be a professional role model and share your knowledge with colleagues.

Which shift suits you?

Day shift: 32 hours with a weekend shift every 2nd or 3rd weekend or 4th weekend, for you who thrive in a lively everyday life with close contact to residents, relatives and colleagues.

Evening shift: (5-2) 28 hours with a weekend shift in odd or even weeks, where one is a maternity cover with weekend shift in even weeks. The evening shift is for you who can create calm and presence while maintaining professional overview as the day ends, with close contact to residents and relatives.

Night shift: 28 hours on average per week (7-7). Weekend shifts in both even or odd weeks. The night shift is for you who thrive with responsibility, independence and the calm of nighttime hours, and who are secure in your professional judgments.
