About the job

Are you eager to become part of a strong professional community where we help each other, take responsibility and find good solutions close to the citizens? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for.

In District Stoholm we are looking for a social- and health care assistant who wishes to bring both their professionalism and their engagement into play in a daily life where care, rehabilitation and collaboration go hand in hand.

About District Stoholm

District Stoholm is a rural district and one of Viborg Municipality's nine home and nursing districts. We cover a large geographic area with both countryside and town, meeting citizens of all ages with different needs. Our approach is rehabilitative, and we work based on the citizen’s resources, wishes and possibilities to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.

About the job

As a social- and health care assistant with us you will have a diverse and meaningful daily life close to the citizens. You will become an important part of the citizens’ pathways and have the opportunity to use your professionalism to create continuity, quality and coherence in everyday life.

You will become part of an engaged citizen-close team consisting of social- and health personnel, planners, nurses, physiotherapist and occupational therapist as well as a dispatcher. The district has two daytime teams and one evening/vigil team. We are united in finding good solutions to the challenges that may arise. Interdisciplinarity, professional sparring and high quality are central elements of our daily life. We emphasize that you can both use your professional skills and develop them in collaboration with skilled and engaged colleagues.

We work purposefully with welfare technology as a natural part of everyday life. In Viborg Municipality we use, among other things, screen solutions where some citizens have one or more visits via a screen. We also work with assistive devices, training and Digi-Rehab, so that citizens are supported to be as self-reliant as possible.

The position is permanent with start date by agreement, but no later than 1 December 2026. Working hours are arranged according to your wishes and our mutual needs. It is planned with mixed shifts.

Weekend work is planned in principle every 2nd or every 3rd weekend as well as every 12th weekend, depending on your wishes and the overall duty roster.

We offer

  • a varied job in an educational environment where we have ambitions for professionalism
  • engaged colleagues and a dialogue-based workplace where we prioritise a good working environment
  • a workplace in development where cross-disciplinary collaboration is not just something we say – it is something we do
  • opportunity to work with welfare technology at multiple levels, and to help find good solutions together with the citizens

We are looking for a social- and health care assistant who

  • has a driver's license and a car
  • is professionally strong and would preferably have experience with health documentation in Nexus – though not a requirement
  • is a team player who contributes with flexibility, responsibility and a desire for cross-disciplinary collaboration around citizen pathways
  • focuses on rehabilitation and works based on each citizen’s wishes, resources and possibilities
  • actively contributes to a good working environment where there is room to breathe, room for diversity and not far from a smile
