The Temporary Staffing Corps in Odense Municipality is seeking social- and health-care assistants who are passionate about helping people live a meaningful life—and who would like to have the freedom that comes with working as a temp.

About the job at the Temporary Staffing Corps

We are the ones who step in when there is illness and vacation at Odense Municipality's nursing homes, outreach groups, and residential facilities.

We take pride in being part of the team, both in relation to our colleagues at the workplaces where we temporary work, and the citizens we must help. Therefore we are not afraid to ask questions and always arrive with an open and curious mindset.

The job as a temp means that you have a great opportunity to develop and to put your competencies to use with different target groups

You will know your fixed days off (as well as protected days off, SH-days, holidays, and holidays). The shifts can be during daytime with the possibility of evening shifts. The meeting times vary depending on which workplace you are covering as a temp.

As a temp in the Temporary Staffing Cors, you will be thoroughly trained, so you are ready to handle a wide range of tasks in a changing environment. We ensure a good introduction and accompanying days before you independently start taking shifts. Experience from nursing homes, residential facilities, or outreach home care groups is an advantage, but not a requirement.

We expect that you

• Are trained as a social- and health care assistant.
• Are good at keeping calm and overview, even in busy situations.
• Are a team player and eager to work in a multidisciplinary environment where you meet many diverse tasks and workplaces.
• Contribute to a high professional level. If you are new to the field, we ensure good and safe onboarding in the tasks.
• Are caring and respectful in cooperation with each individual citizen.
• Will contribute with a positive atmosphere and good humor.
• Can read and understand Danish in writing and speech.
• It is an advantage if you can both cycle and drive a car, but this is not a requirement.

Who are we

The Temporary Staffing Corps consists of social- and health care assistants, social- and health care assistants, pedagogical assistants, pedagogues, unskilled on-call temps, a coordinator, a booker, and a rehabilitation leader.

We have daily offices at Ørbækvej 100B, but as a temp you will report directly to the workplace you are supporting for the day. You can read more about our different citizen pathways and the many workplaces that we will support in due course right here .

Staff meetings etc. are held at Ørbækvej 100B.

Salary and employment terms

️Start date January 1, 2027, or by agreement.

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the current collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.

Employment takes place after protocol 1.
