At Nursing Home Falkenberg we are seeking 5 engaged and caring social and health care assistants: 3 for day shifts and 2 for evening shifts. We are expanding to create more time for each resident and to strengthen the quality, presence and continuity of care.

As a trained social and health care assistant you will be an important part of our daily life and of the ongoing development of Falkenberg. We work professionally and resident-centered with a basis in the values of the new elder law: respect, self-determination and a dignified old age.

About Falkenberg

Falkenberg is located in green surroundings in Apperup/Ålsgårde. Here 74 residents live across six housing units, and our day center receives about 21 users daily. We are around 100 employees who every day work to create the best possible daily life for residents and users.

In the housing part, people with dementia and other functional impairments live. We work in a holistic approach with care, support, maintenance training, activities, presence and community. Throughout the year the house also gathers around events and traditional occasions.

Your tasks

Today and/or evening shifts, you will be a central part of the residents’ daily life. You contribute to holistic care through personal care, care and support, while helping to create structure, well-being and meaningful moments for each resident.

You collaborate closely with colleagues, relatives and other professional groups to ensure high quality, continuity and a respectful collaboration around the residents.

• have an interest in working with people with dementia
• can create safety, presence and meaningful experiences in everyday life
• take responsibility for your tasks and contribute to joint solutions
• can maintain overview and be flexible in a busy and varied daily life
• thrive in teams and contribute constructively to interdisciplinary collaboration
• place citizen involvement and self-determination high
• see opportunities rather than limitations and contribute to a good working environment

• Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement

• Salary: According to the current agreement with FOA
