Your main tasks

• To perform care and treatment tasks, including delegated nursing tasks.
• Medication management, including dispensing and administration.
• Observations, assessments and professional documentation.
• Cooperation with residents, relatives and relevant professionals.
• To contribute to a stable, positive and professionally grounded team.

About you You are educated as a social and health assistant and can be newly graduated or have a few years of experience – the most important for us is that you have a positive attitude to the task. You have an interest in residents in a nursing home, can work after the living-being principle (lev‑bo‑princippet) and place high value on the close relationship with our residents.

It would be an advantage if you have experience with dementia and an understanding of person-centered care and nursing. You work with the starting point of each resident's life story, needs and resources, and create security, well-being and dignity in everyday life.

About Plejecenter Bistrupvang

Plejecenter Bistrupvang is a well-functioning care home with close relationships and plenty of room for humor and presence. We have an activity department where our dedicated staff offer a broad range of activities outdoors and indoors in groups and individually.

We are proud of our interdisciplinary collaboration which we experience has a huge significance for residents' perception of quality.

Plejecenter Bistrupvang is located in beautiful surroundings and was built in 2012 with 50 housing units. The house is divided into two departments - East and West - each with two living units, with its own kitchen and shared living room.

In the Center Corridor between East and West there is a Community House for parties and activities and a training room where our physiotherapist holds training individually and for groups. In the corridor there is also an office for administrative staff, duty planner, department head and center manager

Terms of employment

Employment according to applicable collective agreement and qualifications with start date by agreement.

Positions are as a rule 37 hours/week (day shift), or 28 hours/week (evening shift), with every other weekend on duty. Further distribution of shifts and weekends is arranged when the right applicants are found.

Employment in the Social- and Health area is conditional on a satisfactory public criminal record check.
