Social- and Health Care Helper for Søglimt Care Center

About the position

We are looking for a social- and health care assistant for a permanent position with the possibility of:

• 37 hours per week with work every 2nd weekend

or

• 30 hours per week with work every 3rd weekend

The position is primarily day shifts, and there will be occasional evening shifts.

About Søglimt Care Center

Søglimt Care Center is a lovely care center located in a small local community with the most beautiful view over Sunds Lake. We have room for 50 residents – of which 47 permanent apartments and 3 respite rooms.

We are a multidisciplinary staffing group consisting of nurses, social- and health care assistants, social- and health care aides and a pedagogue.

With us, relationships are a core value. We cultivate close relationships with both residents and relatives and see ourselves as an extra family in the residents’ everyday lives. We emphasize that it should feel homely and safe – not institution-like.

We want to make the residents’ everyday life meaningful. With us there is room for joy, laughter and merriment – and the residents highly appreciate when we can create small cozy and fun moments in daily life. At the same time, we are also there when life is difficult – with presence, calm and care.

Your tasks

• Personal care and practical assistance for residents
• Support for daily routines such as bathing, dressing, toilet visits and meals
• Observations and conveying information to colleagues
• Collaboration with social- and health care assistants and nurses
• Contribute to a safe, homely and cozy everyday life
• Participation in activities and social interaction with residents
