About the job

Boligerne Ved Sønderåen is a residential care facility under the Danish Constitution and Social Services Act §§ 105 and 107 for adults with various psychiatric and social issues.

Our core task is to support the citizens in their recovery process and create a framework in which the individual has the opportunity to live as independent and meaningful a life as possible. We base our work on the citizen’s own wishes, resources and goals and emphasize that the citizen has the greatest possible influence on their own life.

As a psychiatric-care professional your core task is to support citizens in managing their vulnerabilities, developing their coping strategies and strengthening their independence. You will get close to the citizens’ everyday life and have the opportunity to follow their development over time.

We work purposefully with social-psychiatric core tasks and base our work on a recovery-oriented and rehabilitative approach. Together with the citizen, we identify, maintain and strengthen the strategies and competencies that support well-being, life mastery and participation in everyday life.

You will have a daily life with both fixed tasks and situations that require professional reflection, presence and flexibility

Boligerne Ved Sønderåen is part of Center Tinghøj, which offers support to people with psychosocial difficulties.

We house 16 citizens with different psychosocial problems. We are a multidisciplinary team of 18 employees with different professional backgrounds, and we see our differences as a strength.

We succeed in our core task through professionalism, trust and collaboration. Therefore we place emphasis on a work environment where we help each other, share our knowledge and are curious about our own and each other’s practice.

• have a relevant education such as nurse, pedagog, or social and health assistant
• have an interest in or experience with social psychiatry
• can work relationally and recovery-oriented
• meet the citizens with respect, curiosity and an eye for their resources
• can work independently and at the same time contribute actively to the cross-disciplinary community
• have good collaboration skills and contribute positively to the work environment
• can document professional efforts and work systematically and purposefully with citizens’ development
• are eager to develop both your own professionalism and our shared practice

It is an advantage if you have experience from psychiatry or social psychiatry, but the most important is that you are motivated to work with people and passionate about supporting their development and life mastery.

Working hours

The working hours are organised with a combination of day and evening shifts and at least every 3rd weekend.

You can expect a minimum of two evening shifts per week.

Terms of employment

Start date: December 1, 2026

Weekly hours: 37 hours

Salary and terms: According to applicable collective agreement. The salary range is provided in connection with the invitation to interview.
