About the job

Cycling, community and professionalism – are you in on the team?

In Team Frederiksbjerg we are moving towards the future of home care. We are seeking a social and health care assistant who is passionate about rehabilitation, interdisciplinary collaboration and making a real difference for citizens in Aarhus C.

For us, the job is about much more than care. We work every day to support citizens' opportunities to live the life they want, with the greatest possible independence, quality of life and participation in the community. We base our work on what is important for each individual citizen, and we believe the best solutions are created together.

As part of Team Frederiksbjerg you will become part of an engaged and professionally strong community, where we help each other, share knowledge and lift tasks together. You will have responsibility and freedom to put your competences into play, while always having colleagues close by when you need sparring or support.

Our everyday life is characterized by high professionalism, a desire to develop and a good working environment. We work closely across disciplines, and you will meet nurses, therapists and colleagues with different experiences and perspectives. Together we develop our practice and find new ways to create the best pathways for the citizens.

We believe that job satisfaction and quality are closely linked to influence. Therefore you will have good opportunities to shape both your work tasks and your daily life. We value initiative and ideas, and we would like you to help shape and develop the way we solve the tasks.

The district covers Aarhus C, so a large part of the working day takes place cycling through the city streets. That provides variation in daily life, fresh air between visits and a close connection to the local area we are part of.

The position is within the 24-hour area, and the working hours will currently primarily be in the evening shift, and the work will be distributed on 2 working days + 5 days off and vice versa, and 5 working days + 2 days off on a 2-week plan. Therefore weekend shifts are expected every other weekend.

If you would like to become part of a workplace with room to grow, good humor, approachable management and a strong collegial community, where professionalism, trust and influence go hand in hand, we look forward to hearing from you.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is desired to commence on 01.12.2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and after concrete negotiations with the negotiating organization.

Please note that the position lies within the 24-hour area. At present, the service is expected to be mainly in the evening shift.
