Social and Health Care Assistant for the dementia department at the Hedelund nursing home

We are seeking an engaged and professionally strong social and health care assistant who wants to help create security, presence, quality and high professionalism in the daily life for our residents.

About the position

We have room for 24 residents, of which 1 room serves as a respite and 1 serves as temporary accommodation.

We are divided into smaller groups, but help each other across. We meet residents with respect, empathy and curiosity, and we plan the care based on the individual resident's life story and needs.

We work with triage, systematic professional reflection and continuous follow-up, to ensure high quality and stable operation in the department.

The position is 37 hours, preferably day shifts and with work every 3rd weekend.

Starting date: 1 December 2026 or by agreement.

Your tasks will include

• Providing care of high professional quality to residents with dementia.
• Working based on person-centered methods and creating meaningful everyday moments
• Triage and professional assessment of residents' health status
• Documentation and collaboration with relatives and interdisciplinary partners
• Contributing to a calm, safe and predictable environment
• Being a positive and helpful colleague who lifts in collaboration

• Is educated as a social and health care assistant
• Has interest in – or experience with – the dementia field
• Works with high professionalism, responsibility and independence

Salary and employment terms are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, including the applicable provisions on local pay formation.
