About the job

Home care is about much more than a driving list and a series of visits.

It is to be met by a citizen who has been waiting for you, exactly you. To notice when something is different from yesterday. To be able to create calm on a busy morning – and to know that there is always a colleague at the other end when you need sparring or a helping hand.

It is the everyday life we would like to invite you into.

What will your role be?

As SSH in District City Hall you will have a great deal of independence and come close to the citizens you help.

You will, among other things

  • Help and support the citizens with personal care and practical tasks
  • Actively use your observations and your professional competence
  • Respond and relay when you notice changes in a citizen
  • Collaborate with SSA's, nurses and other professional groups
  • Contribute to citizens experiencing recognizability, safety and continuity

You will have responsibility for your own workday, but home care with us is not a solo run. We use each other and our different professional backgrounds – and we help each other when needed.

We are looking for you who…

…is educated as a Social and Health Helper and enjoys the special combination of freedom, responsibility and human contact that home care provides.

You do not need to have many years of experience. The most important is that you take your profession seriously, are curious about the citizens and want to be a colleague you can count on.

You must have a driver’s license and be able to cycle.

A workplace must also fit into your life

The position is day shift, and you have the option to choose a weekend arrangement with work either every 2nd or every 3rd weekend.

You will become part of the day shift in District City Hall and will of course receive a thorough introduction, so you are not just sent out with a phone and a “good luck.”

We prioritize a good working environment, professional development and a collegial atmosphere where there is room to ask for help, contribute ideas and laugh together during the workday.

Are you a little curious?

Then the first step does not have to be a long application.

You are very welcome to contact Heidi Kiefer at 23 62 28 52 to hear more about the position, the team and everyday life in District City Hall.

The position is desired to be filled as soon as possible. We hold interviews continuously and hire when we have found the right colleague.

The position is classified according to the current FOA agreement as Social and Health Helper. The starting salary is 28,746.46 DKK per month excluding pension. Depending on education, seniority and qualifications there may be possibilities for negotiation of supplements.

We look forward to meeting the person who will take the open position with us.
