From 1 October 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter we are seeking new colleagues for the evening shift at Huset Nyvang.

Who are we?

Huset Nyvang is not just a nursing home. It is a home filled with life, stories, laughter, presence and people who every day deserve to be met with respect, dignity and care.

We consist of 42 dementia residences distributed across three cozy houses in the northwest part of Randers. Here you will find, among other things:

• An orangery with a cafe and shared activities
• A thrift shop
• Hair salon and greenhouse
• A lovely courtyard environment
• Many dedicated colleagues
• And not least some wonderful children from the adjacent day care center, who often bring smiles to both residents and staff

At our place no day is the same. Fortunately. For if you love routines without surprises, this is probably not the place for you. But if you thrive on relationships, professional challenges and small everyday miracles, you will likely feel at home with us.

What will you be doing?

You will be an important part of our residents' daily life and evening.

That means, among other things, that you

• Create security, presence and good moments
• Contribute to a dignified and meaningful daily life for people with dementia
• Work from person-centered care, where residents' wishes and needs are in focus
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, relatives and other professional groups
• Document professionally and accurately (yes, we know that documentation is not everyone’s favorite task, but we promise that the coffee helps)

You are a trained social- and health care helper or pedagogue.

In addition we hope that you

✔ Want to work with people with dementia

✔ Can juggle several tasks without necessarily juggling them physically

✔ Take responsibility and contribute to the community

✔ Can give and receive sparring with a smile

✔ Are up for both serious conversations and the cozy laughter by the coffee machine

✔ Contribute positively to a work environment with high psychological safety
