Social work professionals sought for Social Network's § 85 interventions

SocialNetværket is experiencing continued growth and is therefore seeking engaged social-professional staff for our housing support initiatives under the Social Services Act § 85. The interventions are delivered in citizens' own homes and take as their starting point each citizen's needs, resources and goals.

About the work

As an employee you will be part of individually tailored social-pedagogical interventions for adults in vulnerable positions. Citizens may, among other things, have mental, social or cognitive challenges, and the support needs vary from citizen to citizen.

Your tasks may include, among other things

• Social-pedagogical support, guidance and structuring in daily life
• Support to develop or maintain the citizen's skills and coping abilities
• Relationship work and motivational conversations
• Support for contact with authorities, the health care system and other partners
• Preparation of professional documentation based on the assignment, outcome goals and sub-goals
• Close collaboration with colleagues, coordinators and municipal authorities

The work has a clear social-pedagogical and development-oriented purpose. It is therefore not a matter of ordinary practical help or personal care under § 83 of the Social Services Act.

Our professional approach

In SocialNetværket we work relationally, rehabilitatively and resource-oriented. Our interventions always start from the individual citizen's prerequisites and the goals agreed with the authorities.

Depending on the citizen's needs we work, among other things, with

• Mentalization
• Motivational interviewing – MI
• Low arousal and conflict de-escalation
• Recovery and rehabilitation
• Structural-pedagogical and cognitive methods

We place emphasis on continuity and work, as a rule, with smaller, fixed teams around the individual citizen. This creates recognizability, safety and good conditions for relational work.

We are looking for you who

• Have a relevant social-professional education, for example as a pedagogue, social worker or occupational therapist
• Ideally have experience with adults in vulnerable positions or with psychological and social challenges
• Can work independently and at the same time join loyally and constructively in a team
• Are professionally reflective and can translate outcome goals into concrete pedagogical practice
• Can document precisely, respectfully and professionally
• Work in accordance with the law and can keep focus on the purpose of the referred intervention
• Are flexible and prepared for work times that may fall at different times
• Have a driving license and the possibility to use your own car in the job

It is important that you can stay calm in complex situations, be curious about the citizen's perspective and create a professional relationship with clear boundaries.
