About the citizen

In Frederiksberg lives a sweet young man. The citizen has autism and a cognitive functional impairment. He attends a club daily and enjoys playing computer games.

The citizen can become overstimulated in larger social gatherings. In these situations, he withdraws or goes/sits by himself. He needs a companion who can support and guide him in unfamiliar situations as well as in situations with many people, such as in public transport.

About the task

A companion is sought who can create some cozy and fun experiences together with the citizen outside the home, such as going to the swimming pool and to the gym. The citizen handles changing himself. At the start the focus will be on building a good and safe relationship.

The citizen has up to 15 hours per month. He desires companionship on weekdays after club, which is on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Other weekdays and weekends in the afternoon may also occur. Arrangements are made in cooperation with the citizen's family.

You are proactive and good at motivating in a caring way

You are educated as a pedagogue or another relevant education - and have knowledge of citizens with diagnoses.

There is a possibility to be paid as a pedagogue or according to other relevant experience.
