Social Worker for Familiens Hus

Familiens Hus in Høje Taastrup is a partnership house between the Red Cross, Mødrehjælpen and Høje-Taastrup Municipality. The purpose of Familiens Hus is, through social group work, to disseminate knowledge and create networks, increase parenting and action competencies as well as create readiness for work and education among pregnant women, mothers and their partners.

About the job

As a social worker, your primary task is to manage the social work intervention in relation to the parents. Your tasks primarily include individual counseling conversations with the users of the house as well as hosting a Career Café and a networking café in collaboration with the houses job and education counselor and educator.

You will be part of a close, interdisciplinary collaboration with the other staff at Familiens Hus. In addition you will have a large collaboration interface with other centers and actors in the Municipality. View task overview and competence profile .

You will become part of a strong interdisciplinary team consisting of a manager, midwife, health visitor, psychologist, social worker, educator, job and education counselor, volunteer and development consultant, student assistant, service worker and a large number of engaged volunteers. We are looking for someone who

• Are a trained social worker.
• Have broad and up-to-date social work knowledge as well as practical experience with social work themes and legislation, including in the areas of custody , visitation , employment and education .
• Have knowledge of and experience with working with the target group.
• Have knowledge of and experience with interdisciplinary and cross-organizational collaboration.
• Are professionally grounded and able to work with both individual relationship work and group programs.
• Have the ability to coordinate collaboration with relevant actors – e.g. various municipal administrations and civil society.

In addition, it is an advantage if you have experience working in family houses.

As a person you have a humanitarian and inclusive view of people. You have impact, can motivate and inspire and work independently. At the same time you have a genuine interest in working holistically with different professional groups.

Practical information

The position is 37 hours per week, primarily daytime. Employment from January 1, 2027.

Salary and terms of employment are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. We will obtain child and criminal records checks as well as references from previous employments in connection with the employment.

You will have your workplace at Familiens Hus in Høje Taastrup. The house is an early preventive initiative anchored in the range of services under the Children, Youth and Family Center in Høje-Taastrup Municipality.
