Sømarken Nursing Home in Nykøbing Falster is expanding in the new year with a new unit aimed at residents who have both substantial health and social care support needs. It is an exciting and promising new holistic offering for a vulnerable and complex target group, and we are looking for you who:

• Are passionate about working, collaborating and developing yourself in the intersection of professions where the workplace culture is a fundamental element.
• Would like to take the lead in developing professional frameworks, methods and collaboration interfaces around a new offering.
• Focus on holistic care, high professional standards and wellbeing in a vulnerable and complex target group.
• In your approach always base your work on Guldborgsund Municipality’s core mission , namely to “ strengthen citizens’ ability to master their own lives and, in cooperation with the citizens, ensure that everyone can participate in relevant communities .”

The first offer opens in January 2027 and will consist of 6 places.

A nursing home with a social profile should be understood as a special nursing home scheme for residents where the complexity is not only tied to the need for care and health-related interventions but to the combination of complex, composite and somatic needs.

The target group may include

Residents with congenital or acquired disabilities, including brain injury, developmental障碍 or developmental disorders.

Residents with mental illnesses or mental vulnerability

Residents with significantly reduced physical, mental, or cognitive functioning, who require both extensive health care interventions and ongoing social care support.

The offering is based on an integrated multidisciplinary approach, where health care, social care and holistic care are brought together in one joint task solution. Therefore we are looking for employees who can both handle health care tasks and contribute to residents’ wellbeing through relationship work, structure and social care methods.

The nursing home area in Guldborgsund Municipality is on the verge of a comprehensive development. A master plan has been adopted, along with a political vision and a values program for “the nursing home of the future,” which will be rolled out in the coming years. The deliberation is high, and concretely for Sømarken the plan within a few years is to expand the number of places and to renovate the existing building stock so that in the future it becomes an even better framework for the residents’ old age and for our employees’ good working life.

Your tasks will include

• Supporting residents with structure, care and predictability.
• Handling ordinary nursing tasks and health care interventions.
• Documenting.
• Collaborating with other colleagues at Sømarken.

Employment from December 1, 2026 or as negotiated. The start period will be at Sømarken’s other departments until the residents move into the new unit.

The role includes

• Employment on a 7–7 shift arrangement
